Honest Abe-Pencils

Another little sketchbook drawing, from last night.

The character is an adaptation of one that I used in a concert poster (for an imaginary Sufjan Stevens concert), which I painted as a final project for a class this summer. Hopefully, if I can get a good photo, I'll post that up here too.

An idea for a whimsical serialized comic strip, possibly for the school paper backpage (if they'll let me).

Hopefully I'll ink this and colour it with gouache, and post further steps up later.
